Middle School Physical Education
Students will be introduced to foundations of
physical education through skill training as well as strength training. By the
completion of this course students will understand the benefits of a healthy
lifestyle and have skills to incorporate it into their everyday lives. Healthy
citizenship is a continuous part of each class covering the concepts of
responsibility, effort, self-control, compassion, teamwork, perseverance, and
leadership. All students are pre and post tested on their physical fitness
levels using the Presidential Fitness Challenge.
